Olympiacos, already in the process of finalizing a deal to add the services of Alec Peters, is not done, as they have targeted Nick Calathes and Kostas Antetokounmpo.
Calathes, 33, curreently balls for FC Barcelona , but that may be changing as according to a report from eurohoops.net’s Aris Barkas, Barcelona is planning to buy the veteran guard out, and ”new direction of the team may not include him.” Calathes signed a two-year deal with the club last July and this campaign he is averaging 7.3 points, 6.4 assists and 4.0 rebounds on .487/.317/.450 splits.
The Reds are also zeroing in on Kostas Antetokounmpo, the younger brother of Giannis and Thanasis. In his most recent campaign with French club LDLC ASVEL in 26 appearances, Kostas averaged 5.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per contest. Pror to crossing the the pond to continue has basketball career, Kostas had 21 games of NBA experience, split between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks.
